Breaking Borders through art.
BBTA is a project that aims to bring together what art and human rights have in common. Both are concerned with what is (or is not) the identity, dignity, transformation of lives, vision of the future and mission of humanity.
By bringing together artists with migrants, a work of art will be developed as the product of a significant connection between them.
Inspired by the concept of feelingful thinking, art dignifies the human experience by giving voice to thoughts and feelings, which triggers the recognition of humanity itself and, therefore, the contemplation of our collective humanity.
These artistic products were auctioned and the funds reverted to the NGO Donate4Refugees.
UNTOLD.
In collaboration with ASTRO, the artworks produced in BBTA were showcased online from June through August 2021. The virtual exhibition, named “UNTOLD”, observed 13,128 clicks, namely from Portugal, Greece, United Kingdom, Germany and Spain.
